The first commodity giveaway was held last Saturday, May 28th at the Fairgrounds in the Blue Building. We had 155 sign up, however only 137 families showed up to receive the commodities. The left over commodities were disbursed throughout the community to be used for those in need.

I would like to thank the volunteers in the picture above for their help last Saturday: Barbara Woody, Louise Wait, Vivian Jameson, Lois Stafford, Edna House, Robert Ingle, Mike Sunday, Debbie Horn, Wyatt Horn, Jan Luff, Sally Wade, and Jim Bickford. I would also like to thank my employees Marylin Lasley, Diana Baxter, and Myrna Loflin for signing people up, answering questions, and giving information concerning the commodities.
