The Commodity Giveaway was held last Saturday, January 30th. We served 96 families with 154 people within those families.
I would like to take this opportunity to give a “Special” Thank You to Butch Wade, for letting us use his Triangle Freight Building facility for our Food Commodity Give-Away. It is a real blessing to us to be able to use it for the distributions, and our most heart-felt thanks go to Butch.
From time to time we have a few extra items and we have drawings after the giveaway to distribute these items. Those that showed up at the giveaway last Saturday will have their name put in a drawing for the extra items that we received and we will be calling to let you know if you won an item sometime during February.
The next Commodity Giveaway will be held the last of April unless we get some extra commodities between now and then.
