The commodity giveaway was held last Sat.May 8th from 9-10 a.m. at the Triangle Freight Building. We served 120 families with 160 people total.

We appreciate the help of the following volunteers: Joe & Becky Johnson, Rick Macneese, Wes Watkins, Shirley Smith, Bonnie Haddock, Jan Luff, Bobby & Becki Waalkes, Ryan & Shawna Wade, and, Kelly Mason. We appreciate the help of these faithful volunteers and all that they do each time we have a giveaway. They sort, lift, box and hand out the commodities each giveaway and we could not do this without their help. A special thanks to Butch Wade for the use of the Triangle Freight building.

The next commodity giveaway will be in June and we will publish the date as soon as we know for sure. If you have never signed up before you can stop by the County Clerk's office and pick up a form or go to the Baca County Food Commodity Program on this website and click on "Eligibility Form" and print it off, fill out, and mail or drop off at the County Clerk's office, 741 Main St., Springfield, CO.
